Thank you for visiting our website. Congregation Shomrei Torah is one of the most welcoming synagogues in the Phoenix area and we would be delighted to have you as a member. In addition to High Holiday services, we have weekly shabbat services at the Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center, inviting all congregants to actively participate to the best of their ability. While some may be more comfortable with an English reading, we also have availability to try your hand at being Gabbai or reading Haftorah and Torah with the assistance of the Hazzan if needed. Shomrei Torah offers the chance to grow as a Jew and become a part what we feel is “the friendliest congregation in the Valley.”

This year's featured speaker is Loay Ahmed Alshareef, a linguist from Abu Dhabi, who has taken a bold stand as a Muslim advocating for Israel and Jewish-Arab relations. Loay shares his personal journey of defying societal expectations and the risks he faces for spreading the truth – all to promote a future of understanding and unity for Jews and Arabs.
